Enrichment Clubs
Morning Clubs
Early morning enrichment clubs for the summer term will take place in the Football Cage or Top Hall and will start week commencing Monday 5th May 2025 unless otherwise stated. The last week for clubs will be Monday 14th July 2025.

Clubs will be available to book and pay from 5pm on Wednesday 23rd April 2025. All clubs must be paid for in advance via www.parentpay.com.

We are unable to offer refunds should the club be booked in error. Once payment has been made your child's place in the club is secured. Your Receipt from ParentPay is your confirmation.
If a club is full, you will no longer be able to book the club on ParentPay so please email clubs@myattgarden.lewisham.sch.uk for your child to be added to the waiting list.
Pupil Premium: If your child is entitled to Pupil Premium many clubs on offer will be free of charge. However, if the cost per term is greater than £50, we will subsidise 50% of the cost.
Children entitled to Pupil Premium should email clubs@myattgarden.lewisham.sch.uk detailing: which club you are interested in, the name and year group of your child.
All emails will be dealt with on a first come first served basis and you will be informed via email if you have a confirmed place. If we are unable to offer you a place, your child's name will be added to the waiting list.
All children attending morning clubs should access the school via the main school office and must be accompanied by an adult. Children will need to wear appropriate PE kit / footwear
Tuesday Dodgeball (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6)
Dodgeball is one of our most popular clubs and is guaranteed to be great fun for every player! If you’ve never tried it before, now’s the perfect time to start. It’s fun, engaging and safe for everyone and will help children improve speed, strength and agility. Suitable footwear is required.

Wednesday Street Dance (Years 3, 4, 5, 6)
Children will grow in self-confidence and be helped to develop. All sessions are designed to incorporate and challenge all children, no matter their skill level or experience. The focus is that children have fun. Suitable footwear is required.

Thursday Short Tennis
This is a fun and active way to be introduced to Tennis. Open to all skill levels, the club offers guided practice sessions, friendly games, and skill-building. Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced, they'll find a welcoming environment to grow and enjoy. Suitable footwear is required.

Friday Gymnastics (Reception, Years 1 & 2)
This club offers a fun and supportive environment to learn basic skills and build confidence. Through age-appropriate exercises, children will develop balance, flexibility, and coordination, all while having fun. Led by experienced instructors. It's a great way for your child to stay active. Suitable footwear is required.

Afterschool Clubs
For the Summer Term, our Afterschool enrichment clubs will start week commencing Monday 5th May 2025 and will run for 10 weeks unless otherwise indicated. The last week for clubs will be Monday 14th July 2025.

Monday Art & Craft Club (Years 1 & 2)
Art and Craft Club will be led by the Creation Station. Each week Creation Station will ensure that children get to paint, draw, model, sculpt, collage, cut, stick, squish, squirt, mark, make, transform laugh, imagine, think, create, experiment and make new friends.

Monday Football (Years 3,4,5 & 6)
Football club will enhance children’s knowledge, awareness and skills associated with the game. It will support young players develop speed and fluidity and in understanding and improving their skills.
The club is non-selective, and no previous experience is necessary. The club is suitable for both girls and boys. Suitable footwear will be required.

Tuesday Cheerleading Club (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6)
RETURNING and looking to grow the squad. At the Cheer London Allstarz every single child matters. We believe in rising together to create a safe space for growth, development, equality and a chance to evolve through the fantastic sport of Cheerleading. All classes and team training sessions are delivered in a positive and always encouraging environment by our awesome team of coaches and staff.
This club will culminate in The Myatt Garden Squad experiencing a competition at the end of the Summer Term. There is also a small showcase of their talents in the last session of term.

Wednesday Drama Club (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6)
Drama Club will encourage children to create whatever their imaginations lead them to. Classes will focus on bringing out individuality, developing communication skills, encouraging teamwork, growing self-confidence and nurturing imagination but, most of all, FUN! This club will consist of fun weekly sessions packed with drama games, activities and adventures.
These classes are all-inclusive and non-competitive. All children are encouraged to join in and have fun, regardless of ability.
At the last session of each term there is the opportunity to see a short performance – last terms was amazing.

Tuesday Tata Storytime (Years 1 & 2)
Our club leaders are experienced actor/performers with strong storytelling backgrounds. Your child will be able to express themselves without fear of judgement. We will help them become better all-round storytellers focusing on the main elements of our picture book show. We will encourage the storyteller within them all with Music, Sound, Illustrations and Performance to inspire their imagination and create their own fun stories.

Tuesday Podcast & Multi-media (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6)
We're excited to introduce the KS2 Podcast & Media Club - an engaging and creative opportunity for pupils to explore the world of podcasting!
This club offers a fantastic way to help children express themselves, work collaboratively, and gain a
deeper understanding of digital media in a fun and supportive setting.

Include drama-based games and activities as well as work on text, improvisation, characterisation, rhythm, use of imagination, creativity, teamwork, and much more.

Wednesday Spanish (Years 3, 4, 5, & 6)
Through singing, games and role-play our language clubs are great fun as the children have a go at the accent, build their confidence to speak another language and learn about different countries and cultures.
This is a 5-week trial & will run from 7th May – 11th June 2025

Thursday Tata Storytime (Years 3 & 4)
With the popularity of this club for the early years, we are happy to extend it for a trial run for older years. If it proves popular, we will be happy to continue this till the end of term

Thursday STEM Engineering & Building (Years 1 & 2)
Will be an exciting and fun way to introduce children to the scientific world. It will provide an opportunity for curious minds to build and apply their knowledge. Each week will focus on a build and the children can bring these home and show what they have learnt. Hopefully starting a love and conversations exploring this area of learning.
